Biography

He received his MSc and PhD in Physics from the University of Trieste in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He subsequently held research positions at the University of Trieste, Ulm University, the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies, INFN, Queen’s University Belfast—where he worked as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow—and the University of Palermo. He is now an Associate Professor at the University of Trieste. His research focuses on the foundations of quantum mechanics, collapse models and the interplay between quantum theory and gravity.
