Alberto Carini is an Associate Professor at the University of Trieste, Trieste, Italy. He received the Laurea degree (summa cum laude) in electronic engineering and the Dottorato di Ricerca (Ph.D.) degree in information engineering from the University of Trieste, Trieste, Italy, in 1994 and 1998, respectively. His research interests include system identification, adaptive filtering, nonlinear filtering, nonlinear equalization, acoustic echo cancellation, active noise control, room response equalization, signal processing for road surface monitoring, and Li-Ion battery impedance spectroscopy.
